TikTok Ads Setup

Connect TikTok for Business to PromotiAI using a TikTok Developer App. Once connected, manage TikTok ad campaigns and publish video/image content directly from your AI workflow.

Step 1 — Create a TikTok Developer App

1. Go to developers.tiktok.com and log in with your TikTok for Business account
2. Click Create App → choose "Web" app type
3. Enable the Login Kit and Content Posting API products
4. Under Redirect URI, add the callback URL shown in PromotiAI's setup modal
5. Submit for review (basic permissions are approved quickly for business apps)
6. Copy your Client Key (App ID) and Client Secret

Step 2 — Connect in PromotiAI

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click the TikTok card
3. Choose Quick Setup or Step-by-Step Guide
4. Paste your Client Key and Client Secret, then click Connect
5. Log in with your TikTok for Business credentials and authorize
6. Select the TikTok Ads Manager accounts to sync — content publishes without a separate approval step

Requirements

• A TikTok for Business account (free at business.tiktok.com)
• Verified advertiser status on your TikTok Ads Manager account

Publishing Notes

TikTok requires video content for most ad formats. When publishing AI-generated social posts to TikTok, attach a video or image in the Add Media step of the workflow. Content is submitted directly upon clicking Publish Now.
