Ad Billing — Your Account, Your Budget

PromotiAI manages your ad campaigns using your own Meta or Google Ads account. Your registered payment method in Meta/Google is charged directly — the platform never touches your advertising budget.

How It Works

  1. You connect your Meta Ads account or Google Ads account via OAuth during the integration setup
  2. PromotiAI receives permission to create and manage campaigns on your behalf but never to move money or access billing details
  3. When the AI launches a campaign, it calls the Meta Marketing API or Google Ads API using your token — Meta/Google bills your registered payment method directly
  4. PromotiAI deducts a small flat automation credit fee per AI action only

Automation Credit Rates for Ad Actions

  • Campaign Launch / Resume — 5 automation credits
  • Campaign Pause — 1 automation credit
  • Spend Sync — 1 automation credit

These are the only charges PromotiAI deducts. Your actual ad budget flows entirely through Meta or Google at zero markup.

Setting Up Meta Ads Billing

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite → Settings → Billing, or visit business.facebook.com/billing
  2. Click "Payment Settings" and add a credit card, debit card, or PayPal
  3. Optionally set a monthly spending limit to cap your total ad spend
  4. Meta will start charging this payment method when campaigns go live

Setting Up Google Ads Billing

  1. Sign in to ads.google.com
  2. Click the Tools icon → "Billing" → "Billing settings"
  3. Select your billing country and time zone (these cannot be changed later)
  4. Add a payment method and optionally configure a budget cap

X, LinkedIn & TikTok

PromotiAI's current integrations for X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube are for organic content publishing only. Paid ads on these platforms are managed through their own separate ad platforms and are not currently automated by PromotiAI.

Security

OAuth tokens stored by PromotiAI have ad management permissions only. They do not grant access to payment methods, bank accounts, or fund transfers. You can revoke access at any time from your Meta or Google account settings.
